AUDIT / ACCOUNTS SEMI SENIOR
JOB DESCRIPTION

CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

- Studying towards ACCA qualification

- Should have relevant accounts experience

- Completed a finance degree or equivalent

- Should have a working knowledge of SAGE software

- Should be a dynamic individual with good communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES – the ideal candidate would have most of the following experience although training will be provided in specialised areas

• Assisting audit seniors on internal and external audits
• Completion of limited company accounts
• Completion of partnership accounts
• Completion of sole trader accounts
• Completion of personal and partnership tax returns
• Completion of medical accounts
• Completion of VAT returns
• Reviewing work undertaken by juniors
• Delegation of work to juniors
• Keeping partners informed of progress.
• Maintaining knowledge of and good relations with clients.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duty or task commensurate with the level of seniority.
• Working knowledge of Iris, SAGE and VT software would be useful
• Knowledge of PCAS auditing system would be useful
