Established as Chartered Accountants since 1969, Lawrence Grant has helped a wide variety of clients, from sole traders to large multi-nationals, to meet their aims, maximise their profits and, more importantly, to retain the rewards of their hard work.
We are based in Harrow, Middlesex in Greater London and work with both local and international clients. We specialise in helping businesses and individuals to deal with the complexities of operating within a global market.

Lawrence Grant is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales ICAEW and an independent Geneva Group International, a multi-disciplinary network of accountants, tax consultants and solicitors which is currently ranked 7th worldwide in 2009 (according to recent survey carried out by Accountancy Magazine, the UKs leading publication for the profession).

Paul Levy BSc FCA CTA,
attended the London School of Economics before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1979. Paul joined the practice in 1982 and became a partner in 1983. As a member of the Institute of Taxation, Paul keeps up to date on all aspects of UK tax issues and advises many UK and overseas clients on how to understand and work successfully within the existing UK tax laws.
Paul enjoys playing Chess and was the Under 14 Southern Counties Chess Champion! Football, cricket, badminton and reading are also on Pauls list of hobbies and favourite authors are John Saul and Dean Koontz. Paul is married to Helen and they have two grown up children, Lynsey and Hannah.

Graham Busch BCom ACA CA(SA),
joined Lawrence Grant in 1994 and is our International Planning expert. Graham has going on 25 years experience of working in International Tax and has worked overseas as well as for a leading London City firm.
Graham enjoys travel, rugby, football and reading and his favourite book is Are You Dave Gorman, by Dave Gorman. Graham immigrated to the UK from South Africa in 1986 and is married to Sue. They have 2 children aged 28 and 25. The person Graham most admires is his wife Sue for putting up with him!

Alan Rajah FCCA,
joined Lawrence Grant in 1994 and became a Partner in 2001
Alan is involved in all areas of general practice and deals with the information technology requirements for the firm.
Alan’s client portfolio includes local and overseas companies and individuals and has specialist knowledge of clients in the medical profession and has accumulated a wealth of experience in dealing with the specialist tax and compliance issues facing doctors, consultants and other medical professions.
His main focus is assisting individuals and corporate organisations in minimising their tax bills and providing strategic analysis and business development techniques in increasing revenue streams
Alan also deals with both corporate and personal tax planning for UK and international clients and specialises in implementing onshore and offshore tax structures for clients by the utilisation of offshore trust and companies.

Kassim Harunani FCCA
joined Lawrence Grant from a Top 10 London firm as an audit manager in May 2008 and became a Partner in May 2009. He works with an extensive range of corporate and non-corporate clients in various industry sectors from start-ups to multi-million pound groups. His experience includes preparation and review of financial statements, external audit, tax, corporate finance and providing general financial and business advice. He also assists clients to prepare cash flow projections and has been involved in number of financial due diligence projects throughout his career. He is responsible for statutory matters, technical advice and quality control within the firm and is also in charge of staff training and recruitment.
Kassim qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. In his time away from work, he enjoys supporting Manchester United, travelling and most of all spending time with his wife and their two children.
